Morison Insurance is currently hiring more sales staff who are eager to make their mark on the insurance industry.  Due to the high volume of qualified online leads we’ve been receiving, we’ve developed a lead management system that is designed to help you convert more leads, and in the process increase your own success!  We’ve already won two awards this year (one national, and one provincial) for this lead management system as it has been proven to ensure our sales team performs incredibly well!   In fact, one of the first members that joined this fast-growing sales team in April 2019, has recently been named a finalist for Insurance Business Canada’s national “Young Gun of the Year Award”!  If you’re looking for an opportunity to improve your insurance skill set, to build relationships with new customers, and to forget about cold-calling Morison Insurance is the place to do it!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, and the option to work out of any of our 9 locations

Job Summary:

  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Respond to all insurance leads within a timely manner
  • Use of lead management system for incoming leads
  • Provide potential clients with exceptional service and professional advice
  • Accurate quotes with the market that best suits the prospect’s needs
  • Comply with insurance standards and underwriting guidelines
  • Working with our in-house underwriting guidelines/ underwriter
  • Follow new sales procedures
  • Contact previous clients as required
  • Documentation of conversation and correspondence with customers and insurance companies

Skill Requirements:

  • RIBO licensed
  • 3 years insurance experience
  • Epic Broker Management System experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work in a group environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercial experience would be an asset
